Sprint Nextel Corporation is the third largest wireless telecommunications provider behind At&t and Verizon. Sprint has it's hands deep in both the traditional contract style wireless service with Nextel and Sprint brands, and the "pay as you go" wireless market using it's fastest growing brand Boost Mobile. I think this is a smart move on Sprint's part to invest heavily into the pre-paid segment while the front runners Verizon and At&t only offer limited options in their pre-paid segment. I think this will pay off in the long run for Sprint.

In addition, Sprint is the only major network provider to offer a reasonably priced fully unlimited plan for under $100 dollars, though this doesn't seem to be affecting Verizon or At&t too much. Sprint is staying strong by continuing to offer the latest in technology, with the early release of 4G, and by beating out it's major competition on price point. The Sprint horse continues to pull further ahead in the price arena compared to the other major carriers.
